Dania’s Fastelavn Party
Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 6pm onwards
NEW LOCATION!! German Canadian Cultural Association at 8310 Roper Road NW, Edmonton——MAP HERE.
Celebrate Fastelavn with us! Your ticket includes a traditional Danish hot meal, including Flæskesteg (roast loin of pork with crackling), Medisterpølse (spiced pork sausage), Rødkal (red cabbage), Mashed potatoes, Gravy, Roasted carrots and parsnips with dill butter, Salads plus Ris a l’amande, coffee and tea for dessert. This meal is all gluten-free, but if you are vegetarian, please indicate at checkout.
DETAILS:
Cocktails at 6pm, Dinner at 7pm, Fastelavn festivities and dancing after dinner. Food catered by Three Vikings Food + Drink.
Festivities for Fastelavn include the tradition of hitting the cat out of the barrel (slå katten af tønden), bobbing for boller and a little dancing!
