Fastelavn Party—Member Ticket
Our Dania Fastelavn member ticket includes a traditional Danish hot meal, including Flæskesteg (roast loin of pork with crackling), Medisterpølse (spiced pork sausage), Rødkal (red cabbage), Mashed potatoes, Gravy, Roasted carrots and parsnips with dill butter, Salads plus Ris a l’amande, coffee and tea for dessert.
Festivities for Fastelavn include the tradition of hitting the cat out of the barrel (slå katten af tønden), bobbing for boller and a little dancing! Drinks are not included, but can be purchased. Please drink responsibly.
This event will be held on Saturday, March 8 at the The German Canadian Cultural Association (#8310 Roper Road NW, Edmonton) with cocktails at 6pm, dinner at 7pm and festivities to follow. See you there!
